The Reserve Bank of India's National Summary Data Page (NSDP) was last updated on September 24, 2026, providing the latest standardized macroeconomic data for the country. The Reserve Bank of India refreshed its National Summary Data Page on September 24, publishing the latest standardized macroeconomic indicators under the Special Data Dissemination Standard framework (RBI). The update covers the Financial Sector and External Sector, offering a consolidated snapshot of the banking system, central bank balance sheet, interest rates, equity benchmarks, and the country’s external position.

In the Financial Sector, the Analytical Accounts of the Banking Sector detail four monetary aggregates: Broad Money (M3), Domestic Credit to General Government, Other Domestic Credit, and Net Foreign Exchange Assets of the Banking Sector (RBI). The corresponding Central Bank accounts list Reserve Money, Net RBI Credit to General Government, RBI Credit to Commercial Sector, RBI’s Claims on Banks, and Net Foreign Exchange Assets of the RBI. Interest rate tables capture the Bank Rate, the one-year Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate, and Treasury Bill rates, while the equity segment tracks the BSE Sensex and the Nifty 50 (RBI).

The External Sector section presents the Balance of Payments broken into current and capital accounts, with line items for merchandise, services, transfers, income, foreign investment, loans, banking capital, and rupee debt service (RBI). International reserves are reported as Foreign Currency Assets, gold, Special Drawing Rights, and the reserve position in the IMF, accompanied by a footnote that the Foreign Currency Assets figure excludes USD 400 million invested in IIFC (UK) bonds, SDR holdings, swap lending to Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan, and RBI’s funding contribution to Nexus Global Payments (RBI). The International Investment Position shows total foreign assets and liabilities through March 2026, split between direct investment, portfolio investment, and other investments, alongside exchange rates for the rupee against the US dollar and the euro across one-, three-, and six-month tenors (RBI). A fiscal table summarises budget estimates for 2025-26 and revised estimates for 2024-25, covering total disbursements, receipts, the gross fiscal deficit, and its financing mix across domestic and external instruments (RBI).
